Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a full remake of the 1999 favorite kart racer complete with tons of new features, tracks, and fully redone graphics. The game was developed by Beenox and published by Activision on June 21, 2019. CTR Nitro-Fueled includes all the playable racers from Tag Team Racing and Nitro Kart 2, along with several characters making their first playable appearance in a Crash racing game. Among the new ps4 games released in 2019, this is probably the best kart racing game out there. CTR Nitro-Fueled is available for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
CTR Nitro-Fueled PS4 and Xbox One is loaded with content. As of January 2020, Nitro-Fueled features 50 playable characters, including every racer from the prior Crash racing games. You might be surprised to see tracks and characters from the under-played and under-released sequel, Nitro Kart, in the game, and even more surprised to see tracks from the early, almost entirely unknown sequel Crash Tag Team Racing, but these just feel like icing on the remake cake.
People who owned a PlayStation 1 remember the times when they loved to play the original Crash Team Racing, Naughty Dog's fourth entry into the Crash Bandicoot franchise and their first-ever kart racer. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled's difficulty, memorable track design, and addictive power-slide mechanic make it a kart racer worth playing but it's not without its frustrations. Among the ps4 games on shelves last year, 2019 stand out. I may be nostalgic, but CTR Nitro-Fueled has everything great from the previous games and many new things added that clearly separate it from other games of the genre.
CTR Nitro-Fueled separates itself nicely from other games like it. Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled avoids the problem of players getting bored by simply including a shed load of content. There are also many game modes that keep the game entertaining for any tastes. It is not an exageration when we say that CTR Nitro-Fueled is one of the best ps4 racing games ever. Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled Activision and Beenox have absolutely nailed it. This is a lavish, fantastically polished remaster.
The adventure mode has also been tweaked: in addition to new cinematic cutscenes being added, players can choose between "Classic" and "Nitro-Fueled" adventure modes, the latter of which allows players to change their character and kart between races, as well as choose between three difficulty levels. Nitro-Fueled includes all of the content from Crash Team Racing, along with several new features not present in the original game, including online multiplayer and the ability to choose different karts, which can be customized by the player. When I made my list of best ps4 games of 2019, CTR Nitro-Fueled was on it. It is difficult not to consider this beautiful game that cater to all ages, simple, yet difficult to master, that you can play again and again with your friends and family.
