Nioh 2 is a fun console game and tremendously like the original piece Nioh (2017), aka the "benevolent king". Not just in its system, but many elements of enemies, equipment and its interface - and even bosses and scenarios are great. This is a difficult game that can be frustrating at times. If you're able to overcome the difficulty it is rewarding. It is great to have a sequel to Nioh and I must confess that I was waiting this one. I find it to have just an issue: you'll find it only on the ps4 games shelves.
The narrative, world, and lore are steeped in the enemies and Japanese mythology and environments are attractive and well crafted. I'm only about 5-8 hours but I am hooked and will probably attempt to complete this console game. While I am playing on normal I believe there's an easy setting for those who find it too hard (no shame, it really can get tough). I highly recommend if you enjoyed games like Dark Souls and Bloodbourne (for example, you can buy Dark Souls III for PlayStation) or for those who don't shy away from a fight and like culture.
Nioh 2 is essentially Nioh with a new end, to me, a person fond of the console game, it is not a problem (you can buy Nioh PS4 as well, you'll enjoy).
