Dirt 5 is an important off-road arcade racing, probably the best PS5 racing game of its kind. This game knows how to create a fantastic first impression, even if it is not necessary because this is a well-known release. You should see all the tracks Dirt 5 has to appreciate the diversity and beauty of this game. For example, within minutes of racing around the pristine Nordic city of Henningsvaer in a sensuous '90s Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V1, I am treated to dirt and muck being hauled off the street by my tires, waves breaking across the bridge I screech across, and cars jostling with me while trying to drive through muddy corners. It is a thrilling introduction to the racer, all occurring at dawn with orange colors attempting to burst beyond the clouds and the Chemical Brothers blaring on the soundtrack.
Dirt 5's big issue is how the campaign and off-track single-player components can tie everything together. I will explain myself. The light from the sky gets snuffed as a thunderstorm begins to take over as the road disappears before me, with thick snowflakes more clearly whizzing past my car like I am going speedy into hyperdrive. Corners I was judging pretty well become much harder, as only the hot color of direction signals, my car's headlights and the occasional flash of light give me no more than 50 yards of visibility ahead. I have the feeling that Dirt 5 PS5 may improve under the aspects described and I look forward to the patches.
If you enjoy racing games, Dirt 5 is one of those arcade racing games that are worth playing. Codemasters are famous for their incredible games, but you have to keep in mind that Dirt 5 is not a sim, otherwise you will evaluate it differently. Dirt 5 has a lot of interesting features, but I would like to put an emphasis on its dynamic weather. The variation and the way various systems interact provides an incredible feeling of authenticity. Hopping straight back into Henningsvaer has me racing the same track, but this time with heavy snow. What starts off as something comparable, as the dusting of snow has churned up by my tires interior of sand, completely transforms into a distinct race halfway through. It is a different experience, and this is what you expect from one of the best PS5 games of its type.
With Dirt 5 you can have a trip around the world race and experience over 70+ special routes across 10 different worldwide locations in dynamic environments that makes things different. From driving racing on the frozen East River in New York, to under the Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, to shining from the Northern Lights in Norway, take on competitions, terrain, and everchanging conditions. The specs are fantastic, you can expect on PS5 to run in 120 FPS. Dirt 5 will make fans of off-road racing very happy, but not only them. If you want to play PS5 games that can make you happy and relaxed, Dirt 5 is one of the best choices.
