Tales of Arise has a memorable story and very good combat. Although it's not always easy, especially when Bandai Namco and the back half of the game get into interplanetary affairs or storytelling that is more grandiose than the front, the combination of compelling characters with a story that will make you root for all involved is an amazing match.

Tales of Arise was created with veterans of the series and newcomers in mind. Minoru Iwamoto, who previously worked on Zestiria and Berseria, was appointed art director and character designer. He did an amazing job to bring the franchise to the standards of today. It must be said it was the first time that both these roles have been filled by one person, this person is a guru. Bandai Namco hopes to bring together the game's theme, art style, and world design, which takes a darker turn than previous titles.  It is a restart of the series.

The entire game's art has been completely redesigned. From character models to environmental design, the whole world has a richer, more tactile look. It is a complicated story, but you will manage to navigate through the game without problems. This story has the right tone and it deserves your attention. F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch has a compelling narrative that will introduce you to its fascinating world. Maybe not the main feature of the game, but an important one. But you should buy F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch for the skillful adventure, amazing open-world, great exploration, and top combat.

F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch tracks Rayton, an anthropomorphic bunny brawler who is tasked with rescuing his friend while fighting his way throughout the "diesel-punk" realm of Torch City. Rayton is a soldier and can punch some serious asses with his Fist. Players can upgrade the fine piece of machinery through gameplay. They also have unlockable skills and passives that allow them to create new weapons. Exploration is incomplete without weapons and abilities. They allow you to pass through doors and reach higher places. F.I.S.T. is visually stunning. F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch can move up and down, becoming increasingly more difficult, but never boring or too hard. Not too much, not too hard could be a motto for great PS5 adventure games.

F.I.S.T. is an impressive game that displays a surprising amount of detail in every part of the world. Beautiful reflections are created by the metal-heavy environment. They show off the polished areas of the empire versus the well-worn and the rusted regions of the resistance movement. Although character movement is quite realistic, there are some oddly-looking missing frames of animation in the in-engine cutscenes. There is some Kung Fu master in Torch City who brags about punching through the Legion's mechanical gates or shattering through metal plates with his Power Punch.
